People First Fraserburgh are closely involved with another project called Celebrating The Difference, its sole intention is to bring together people with varying disabilities and people from different ethnic and cultural groups.

We held a big event at the NESCOL College in Fraserburgh on September 2014, with several countries showcasing food and dancing along with Lighthouse Rock singing several songs. This proved so successful that we are holding another event later on this year.

As a result of this event, People First were nominated for an Inspiring Aberdeenshire Award.  Here's a picture showing Joe Gault receiving the award on behalf of People First at a Civic reception at Haddo House held on the 11th of June 2015.
